Doctoral Level Education and Student Support System

Tokyo Tech offers four special degree programs for doctoral students, which are the academies for the WISE Program, and two support programs in financial aid and career support.

The four academies for the special degree programs help develop the student’s (1) broad perspective through interdisciplinary research, (2) ability to solve social problems through industry-academia collaboration, (3) international leadership skills, and in addition, provides financial aid and career support. To enroll in these academies, registration while in the master’s program is recommended.
If you join in one of the four special degree programs and enroll afterwards in one of the two financial aid and career support programs for doctoral students, it will greatly enhance your skills and financial assistance.

Students are encouraged to continue onto the doctoral program, make the most of the support provided to continue your education.
