Ota City Start-up Experience Off-Campus Project (AY2023 3Q)
In cooperation with Ota city, Tokyo Tech Academy for Super Smart Society will offer the “Ota City Start-up Off-Campus Project”. This year, we have also established a new 600-level course, a practical curriculum aimed at the “commercialization of research themes” through the preparation of specific business plans.
We look forward to registration from those interested in entrepreneurship.
Outline
To learn about the option of “entrepreneurship” as a career path, we will invite presidents of Tokyo Tech venture companies as guest speakers to talk about their business experience and conduct exercises related to entrepreneurship. The program will also focus on fieldwork and provide opportunities for stimulating experiences such as visits to unique facilities in Ota City, including cutting-edge incubation facilities and town factories, which are generally inaccessible, as well as business presentations from the people in charge of each facility. Guests from various companies (Sigma Energy, Prototype, IWAMA Co. Ltd., Kajima Corporation, Jonan Shinkin Bank, Bocek, iMott, Piezo Sonic, Tokyo Stock Exchange, etc.) will give lectures on their activities. We will visit various facilities (Haneda Innovation City (HIC), JAL SKY MUSEUM, factory apartments (Techno FRONT Morigasaki), etc.).
*This course is one of the Cyber-Physical Off-Campus Project courses offered by Tokyo Tech Academy for Super Smart Society. (Acquiring a credit for the Cyber-Physical Off-Campus Project course is one of the requirements for enrollment in Tokyo Tech Academy for Super Smart Society.)
